Values Added

Learning together to practise Christ-like, whole person medicine

Programme facilitators

We continue to link interested healthcare professionals to a growing number of facilitators and active groups, but we would also like to hear from individuals who might be interested in facilitating a small group in their area.

What would I have to do to be a Values Added facilitator?

As a facilitator you may wish to manage a group yourself or you may wish to partner up with up to two other facilitators. Your role will be to arrange and host regular meetings. You and your group will establish your own group meeting pattern and decide how the meetings will work. The study materials and detailed explanatory notes and guidance are provided for you.

You would have three key roles:

  1. Help create a safe, welcoming, collaborative learning atmosphere.
  2. Guide the group through the set material and tasks for each session.
  3. Ensure that each group member contributes to the discussions.

Facilitators are not required formally to teach or provide mentoring.

We hope facilitators will enjoy facilitating their Values Added groups and will find it a helpful, stimulating and encouraging role that will aid in their own development as a Christian healthcare professional.

If you think you may be interested in becoming a Values Added facilitator; You can register your interest or you can contact us.
